The Island of Bimini is known as the big game fishing capital of the world, with a record tuna catch of 971 pounds dating back to 1993. The island has an array of legendary fishing guides who are willing and ready to provide visitors with some of the best fishing (and fishing tales) as well as guided trips in the Bahamas. Take a tour of the local historical sites such as the Steps of the Lost City of Atlantis, The Healing Hole and the Fountain of Youth, among others. Bimini Bay Resort and Marina's helpful staff is happy to arrange bone fishing, deep sea fishing and big game fishing.
Bonefishing
Avid anglers and boaters already know Bimini as the Bonefishing Capital of the World and have been visiting the island for many years. Bimini's extensive mangrove shorelines, flats and inland rivers provide warm water and food perfect for bonefish. Unlike some other locations, conditions are perfect for fishing in Bimini year round. There are lots of bonefish here and the big ones can be found every day of the year. With the advent of Bimini Bay Resort and Marina, the island is emerging as the newest upscale getaway for those seeking laid-back, casual luxury. Hire a guide for half a day or an entire day.

Watersports
Bill and Nowdla Keefe's Bimini Undersea offers snorkeling and SCUBA as well as Wild Dolphin adventures. Private charters are available for world-class deep-sea fishing and bone fishing. Kayaking, sailing and island tours may also be arranged.
